I've decided to fondly refer to this time post-mission as The AFTER-LIFE. I can hardly believe that already it's been a year since I returned from my mission. For the last six months I have literally been telling people that I have been home for six months. Then one day, someone graciously pointed out that is has in fact actually been a year and I should probably start being a little more accurate in what I tell people. Not important, right?
I officially SURVIVED my first year as a teacher and I am anxiously and nervously awaiting school to start again. This last year I worked part time as the assistant choir teacher and part time as the instructional assistant in the English Language Learning class at Gilbert High School. I had some amazing experiences in both areas but I am excited that this year I will finally be teaching choir all day long! I will still be the choir assistant at Gilbert in the morning, but in the afternoon I will be the choir teacher at South Valley Junior High. While I am nervous to be doing something different, I am also very excited. Call me crazy but I actually think Junior High will be a blast!
In other exciting news, I am finally moving out of my padres house into a house with two other girls. We are just renting, although hopefully soon I can look more into buying a house. I am sooo excited to move this weekend and have some new crazy adventures with new and crazy roommates! Woot Woot!
